- Grandes catacombes souterraines avec columbarium. De longs couloirs avec des virages et des impasses, un endroit calme et légèrement glauque. Mais si vous vous trouvez quelque part à proximité, allez voir : l'endroit est librement accessible et mérite vraiment une visite. L'ensemble du cimetière regorge de tombeaux intéressants et de statues en pierre ou en bronze.

- It feels strange to say but i 100% recommend a visit to this cemetery during your stay in brussels. It is best coupled with your visit to the atomium ! In this area you find by far the most beautiful cemetery i have ever seen right besides one of the most beautiful churches in europe ! The graveyard is filled with very meaningful melancholic statues around or on graves. The feelings you get when walking through the place is unmatched and incomparable to anything you have ever felt ! You can easily spend 2 hours in here if you really wish to take your time ! Don’t forget to get to the underground crypts/catacomb ! It is huge and also unique  ! Entrance is free, car parking is free, public toilets are free… It is just a perfect stop. I recommend coming during a time where a visit inside the chruch is possible, usually in the afternoon.

- This place is stunning  ! You simply must visit when you’re in Brussels. It has beauty flowing through it above ground and below although the below is very spooky at times. The place is quite big and the variation is large too, there are public toilets which are great to have and the view of the cathedral stalks you all over the place which is in itself another stunning sight to behold. East to get to from central Brussels.

- Un lieu historique et culturel intéressant pour ceux qui veulent en savoir plus sur les traditions belges. Il y a de grandes tombes ainsi que des cendriers. Situé derrière une grande église.

- Tombé par hasard sur le plus ancien cimetière bruxellois en fonction, je n'ai pu y rester que 15 mn car les portes principales allaient se fermer. Qu'à cela ne tienne, ce sera l'occasion d'y revenir pour y visiter les galeries funéraires et découvrir les personnalités qui y reposent. Bien plus qu'un cimetière paisible et serein, c'est 'the place to visit' pour en apprendre un peu plus sur le passé de la région de Bruxelles et les hommes et femmes qui ont participé à la renommée de la capitale belge. François Vaxelaire, créateur d'un véritable empire commercial, le personnage emblématique Guillaume Hippolyte Van Volxem, ou bien Joseph Pœlaert, architecte et créateur de notoriété publique. Les visiteurs peuvent également profiter d'une vue magnifique sur l'église Notre Dame de Laeken parmi les Thuya Géants: ces Cèdres Rouge de l'Ouest, arbres protecteurs de ceux qui nous ont quittés.

- While walking around doing touristy things we stumbled upon this beautiful cemetery. The area is a very nice and calm, the church in front of the cemetery provides a lot of parking space so if you are driving you will not have problems to park around here. The cemetery is pretty large and has amazing tombstone art all around, some of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I am not aware of any famous person who is buried there but I think that the art and the catacombs are such a high point here and coming in even not having a celebrity to visit is not an issue since theres so much beauty here. We went to the catacombs and they are amazing. There is no way for me to describe and make justice to what I saw at this cemetery, but if you are also a fan of tombstone art like me you must come over and take a look at some of the most amazing art. Make time to also enjoy some food at the restaurant right outside of the cemetery, be aware that in this area they mostly speak French so enjoy and feel like a local.

- Enchanting mesmerising place. It feels as if you step out of time into this vacuum of history and art.

- Sometimes small walk on cemeteries can tell you more about culture than museum. Was interesting to visit.

- Super, à voir  ! Belle lumière, arbres incroyables, ouseaux divers, tres propre, très bien entretenu, pas de problème pour se balader seule, je recommande !

- Most beautiful cemetery i have ever been to, was honoured to be able to prey for all great people resting there, will always come back while in Brussels.
